an·ni·ver·sa·ry n.
1. The annually recurring date of a past event, especially one of historical, national, or personal importance.
2. A celebration commemorating such a date.
Some anniversaries commemorate sad events, some exciting, some happy. But aren't anniversaries great? It's such a good time to think about the past year or years and reflect on what you have learnt or how you have grown through your experiences. You can remember the people in the past year that you have gotten to know and how they have affected your life. It's a good time to look ahead and wonder what the next year holds and how your life will change and what will remain the same. Maybe I am just overly sentimental but I think it's so important to acknowledge those special events that shape us into the people that we are.

That's why God had his people do things like put stones at the crossing of the Jordan. So every time they would see them, they would remember how God took care of them.
Besides, its a great excuse to have a piece of chocolate cake!
I 100% agree!
You are so right. No matter if it's good or bad it shapes us into who we are. And that's a good thing!
